Financial change doesn't take place overnight - it's a process. This phone consultation can be the beginning of real and lasting change.

The idea with the phone consultation is to try to synthesize the financial problems facing you. Decide what you want me to know about you and consider what you need to know about me.

The free phone consultations are offered on Friday mornings and are by appointment only. When you feel ready, see if you can arrange to be completely private for half an hour by the phone on a Friday morning. Call us, request the consultation and let us know the appropriate phone number. We will call back to confirm. Please give us two working days notice if you need to change or cancel. Even though the phone consultation is provided free of charge, it is scheduled in and treated just as seriously as a paid appointment.

There is no obligation to come in for a paid appointment.

To get ready for this appointment we suggest three ways to prepare.

• Place a piece of paper somewhere private at home where you will see it and write MONEY at the top of the page. Add any words that come up - the stranger the better.


• Try to get as clear an idea of what's going on with your money as you can tolerate prior to the appointment. Note any uncomfortable feelings that surface while you do this.
  (NOTE: you needn't actually make any progress with this task. The idea is to uncover material regarding your own internal barriers to getting fiscally healthy.)


• Journal about money and your history with it.

If you feel up to it you could also list your debts and assets with amounts and rates of return.
